ZOOM
The “May Day - MAYDAY!!! MAYDAY!!! ZOOM Concert, Episode 9 of “Can’t Make This Stuff Up,” is scheduled for Thursday, May 18 at 8 pm ET US.
"Tom skewers hypocrisy and insanity with his rapier wit. His global sophistication put into performance art is extraordinary.” Kathy Hersh, Miami Friends
May 1 is the International Day of Workers’ Struggle. MAYDAY! is the international distress signal used by sailors and pilots when their ship or aircraft is in danger. It is derived from the French term "m'aidez" which means "Help me!" This month’s show will address some labor stories, as well as some distress signals, beginning with a message from our mothers.
The concert series is a different show every month. I appreciate that some folks have come to multiple concerts. Remember that these concerts are an excellent time to meet people across the time zones who are all part of our global community, doing similar work as you. It is an opportunity for networking and gathering information…Please feel free to share this announcement with your friends.
“Tom is uproariously funny and irreverent songs were interspersed with poignant, deeply moving ones; a masterful storyteller.” Wendy Geiger, Jacksonville Meeting, FL
Each attendee may purchase a ticket for this show here up until 6:30pm ET on the day of the concert. Every month, people wait too long and are not able to get a ticket. Remember that “seating” is limited.
Payment options:
- You may send a check payable to Tom Neilson, 37 Solar Way, Greenfield, MA 01301. Some people are paying for multiple concerts with one check. Please let us know when the check is in the mail so we can be looking for it.
